About

I am a senior at a small liberal arts school in Massachusetts where I specialize in religion, Arabic, and distracting myself from the first two. I’ve spent the past few years flitting about the world a bit, and though I’m looking to return to some of those places soon, I’m planning on staying put for a while.

In the past, I have tried to make this site a travel blog, a photo blog, a music blog or a news blog. It was largely uncooperative, and I have finally settled on the umbrella theme of whatever the hell I want.

The title, “jamjama,” is Arabic for speaking incoherently or in gibberish, which I like because it sounds silly and sets a level of expectation that I feel comfortable with.
